Carrier 1st Gen iPad Air 4G but no LTE

I have a first gen iPad Air with my transferred grandfathered-in unlimited plan (from my first gen iPad) and see 4G all the time but should I be seeing LTE ? I'm currently running iOS 8.4 Jailbroken.

Does anyone else with a First Gen iPad Air wifi+cellular ever see LTE?

Thank you, my iPhone 6s on Verizon changes back and fourth depending on service available. When I am not in a great service area it shows 4G and when I am in the city it shows LTE. So on an iPad wouldn't it show LTE instead of 4G when LTE is enabled?
