Sounds like a better price than Apple's $599 charge. Are you getting a good quality display?

If you don't want to sell it for parts and buy a new one (which would cost more money I'd imagine), it's not a bad option.
 
If I could get $100 out of it for parts I would consider just upgrading. Apples $599 is ludacris. The iPad was only $799 new for christsake.

someone offered to replace the screen for $349. I'm curious, do they offer to buy you a new iPad when they screw yours up and Apple refuses to touch it because that 3rd party screen makes it a tampered item.

and you do know yes Apple's $599 is for a full unit replacement.
