Hi,

I have a problem. My first generation iPhone seems to crash every so often since I upgraded to 2.0. I go to make a call or use it and the screen is completely blank and it won't awake. I have to do a hard reset and then it seems fine. It happens when I leave it for a few hours or so (probably around 4 time a day currently). I am not sure if anyone else is getting this.

I have done a complete restore to see if that would help. It hasn't. I have left off any apps, but this does not seem to have helped.

Any ideas? Could this be a hardware problem? I hope not. It only happened since I went to 2.0.

Thanks,

Glassbathroom

I have had similar crash problems since installing 2.0 think its a software bug, with the next software update i hope this solves this issue and also i hope it solves the lag on the keyboard...

Hi Tincan78,

Thanks for the reply. Sorry you are having the problem, but it is a relief to me that I am not alone. I installed the pre-release 2.0 firmware and am a bit worried that it caused the problem. I am now with the official version. Did you install the pre-release version?

Cheer,

I wouldn't worry, although i did install the pre release its not that. Lots of friends who installed the official release straight away also have these problems. Its bugs that Apple did not sort before release. Anyway i know that are working on 2.0.1 software upgrade so lets hope it sorts all these problems out.... sure it will !!!
