1st gen iPhone screen coming loose??

I dont exactly know to describe it, but I'll do the best I can. I have a 1st gen iPhone and tonight I noticed that if i press down on the right corner of the face of the screen, it makes noises that sounds it its bouncing off something behind the screen like its not fastened down properly.

I pushed on the other 3 corners and no noise, the other 3 corners feel sturdier too.

Anyone else experience this?

I have the same thing. The top right corner is not quite flush. I can push it down to where it would be flush but it pops back up. It's nothing too serious, more of an irritation. Is there a way to glue it back down. I was thinking of superglue in a syringe inserted into the gap between the glass and chrome edge. Anyone???

I would NOT recommend that. It could permanently damage other parts of the phone. Super glue effectively melts plastic together.

Got the same Problem.. Thought that was cause i dropped it.. Apperently not!!

Not a big issue for me though!!

Like I said, everything still works. It's more of an annoyance. OCD if you will. And now a few strategically placed specs of dust have worked their way under the black part of the glass. There's gotta be a solution to fix this-preferably without any sort of disassembly.

Just a quick update. I tried the superglue trick I mentioned above and it went perfectly. My issue was with the top right corner, just under the power switch. My mom works at a doctor's office and she gave me a syringe kit with a small, fine needle tip and a larger needle tip. I used the large needle to draw up the glue and switched to the fine tip to insert it. I used a standard razor blade to pry up the corner just enough to insert the needle and gave it a few squirts. Held it in place and now it looks good as new. The top corner had a blank spot where the original adhesive was so there was no risk of damaging any of the internal components. Just thought it might help someone else.

Same problem

I have the same problem. For me, the entire left side of the phone seems to be lower then the other side. Like, I can feel the edge of the bezel on the left side, unlike the right side which is flush with the bezel. I noticed the clicking problem isn't as bad with a screen protector though.
