A while ago my first generation ipod nano went through the washing machine. I tried putting it in a bowl of rice, putting it under a lamp, etc. I did not plug it in. Then days later after I had finally given up, I plugged it into my Clock/Radio that doubles as a charger, and to my delight it started up! Estatic I let it charge all the way. But when I pulled it out to use it, the screen froze. I have not used it since (nor have a bought a new one). It still works when I plug it in but not when it is unplugged, and what is the good of having an ipod that is not portible?
Anyways, today I was bored an decided to try to take it apart. I succedded to take the metal back off. It is now sitting under a lamp.
Do you think it has any chance of coming back to life? If I blow dry it again, will the results differ. now that it's guts (i.e. the greeness with wire or w/e) is exposed?
Any suggestions to have to try to save it again?
Ps. I understand it might not have been best to take it apart but was willing to try as it was no longer usable anyways.
Thanks!
