Hi,

After visiting an Apple Store, I'm pretty much set on getting the 42mm AW2 stainless steel with Milanese loop.

I'm also after some other Apple band options but the variations they sell packaged with the watch and on display in store are fairly limited.

What 1st party bands do you have with your SS?

I'm looking for some inspiration and want to avoid 3rd party bands for the time being. I see a lot of malfunctioning bands and don't want to risk my SS.

So far I like the look of midnight blue sports and midnight blue leather loop.

Thanks

A popular choice I've seen is the saddle brown classic buckle. I personally love the look of the midnight blue leather loop as well.

I know you mentioned wanting to avoid third party bands for now, but Moko's replica of the stainless steel link bracelet is quite good. I've been wearing it for six months and most people think it's the Apple one (unless they examine it and see the holes to remove the links).

I have to say apple's woven nylon bands are incredibly comfortable for what it's worth.

I'm a little wary of the leather loop's security. A coworker has said that he's managed to accidentally undo his while dealing with his children, and his watch would drop to the floor.

I've un-tucked my sport band only once, and that was while moving large crates. Thankfully, it didn't undo the peg, but it was pretty close.

I only have the sport band now, but would choose either the link bracelet or, for the same money, the mesh loop plus black and brown classic buckle straps. I miss the variety of choices I had when I was wearing my regular watches, but Apple's quick-change strap connector makes it so easy to get a new look and feel.

Thanks for the warning. The link bracelet is too pricey for my tastes, although it does look good.

Thanks, I was really impressed with the feel of the woven nylon bands, but I'm unsure which one I would get. The only one shown in store with the SS was the pearl. I'd like to inject a bit of colour in my range of bands, but so far I'm drawn to the more muted options of bands (midnight blue, silver, pearl, brown).

Yeah, I like the look of the brown classic buckle, that was one of the models available at the Apple Store.

I'm cautious of 3rd party bands, I did look at the Moko, but I was put off by some of the negative reviews https://www.amazon.co.uk/product-re...e=UTF8&filterByStar=one_star&showViewpoints=0

If you ask, they should let you try different bands in-store by swapping them off of other watches in the drawer.

Yeah, I should have thought of that at the time, I was mainly concerned with picking the right size. I don't live close enough to return for a second time before the announcement next week.

I'm mainly curious to see what SS band options people have chosen.

I have had Sport bands, Milanese, Leather loop, and nylon...but my favorite by far is the Classic Buckle Saddle Brown (3rd Gen).
