iPhone 15 Pro Max 1up in store pickup question

so i secured the 15PM in natural titanium for launch day in store pick up. do i bring my 14 PM and trade it back in at the store or will i recieve a box to ship it back?

You had the option of selecting one or the other when you preordered. Look at your order and see if it shows a pending shipment for a trade-in box.

If you do the iup and in store pick up you trade it in at the store

Trade in at the store. I've never see the option of picking up and being able to send it in

You can do both. Pick up new and give in your previous device right there. Or go back within 14 days and turn it in. Don’t mail. Drop off at Apple Store. I do it every year.
