2.0.2 Software Problems

Anyone having issues with the new update? Recurring issues from 2.0.1 or 2.0.0? Post here.

Personally, my 3G iPhone has been having difficulty making calls since the 2.0.2 update. I have try as much as 6 times to get past the call failed screen. Pretty annoying. I'm on EDGE by the way as I don't live in a 3G area and I have had this happen on a variety of signal strengths... sometimes full bars.

After 2.0.2 was installed I can no longer open any of my App Store apps. Clicking on the icons takes me to the app for a second, and then right back to the iPhone home screen.

But for me every update has made the phone worse. I can still get no Wi-Fi since 2.0. 2.0.1 caused long delays at email and contacts. Mine is a 1st gen phone, so I am wondering if this is just to get me to update to 3g

I had the problem of clicking on apps and then it takes you right back to the home screen. Here was my solution.

Go to Itunes with the iphone plugged in and click on the tab on top that says store and you will get a drop down box. Click on Authorize computer.

I got this from an apple tech. I think I resynched everything up after that too.

Took care of the problem with the apps closing on me.
