I currently have a 3g jailbroken iphone running OS 2.0.1. My question is that when I upgrade to 2.0.2 and jailbreak it, will I lose all of my apps and settings? I know that I can backup before and restore all of my app store apps (along with contacts, mail, etc.). But, will I loose all of the apps I have downloaded from cydia? Will I also loose my themes, NES games, and all the stuff that I have put on since jailbreaking it originally? Any help would be great, thank you.

Yes, and if you upgrade to 2.0.2 do not restore from backup. This will make your phone unstable in that it will restore jailbreak files from 2.0.1 You will have to setup as a new phone and re-download all your goodies.

Only other way is, if your good with SSH and know your files, you could just copy what you want onto your computer and then copy back on the phone once you upgrade.

Unless you are have problems I would not even both with 2.0.2 if really does not help but those 2% with major reception problems. Wait till 2.1 comes out and the dev team jailbreaks it.

That's kind of what I was leaning towards. Thanks a lot for the response.
