I looked everywhere and found little answers, so excuse me if I missed a post about this ... I am unsure whether to upgrade or not from 2.0.1 to 2.0.2, nothing really wrong with my 1st gen iphone except still not s snappy as on 1.1.4, lags in mail and sms stuff, so do I dare or not upgrade??comments, please thanks

why not? its not gonna make it any worse. 2.0.2 is suppose to be for minor bug fixes.

You know, I was under the impression that 2.0.2 did really nothing but I read a great article about what it did fix. It turns out that previous firmware's were demanding to much "power" from the towers. When the towers were overloaded is when people were dropping calls and getting poor data speeds. Now, if the load on a tower was minor you would not see hardly, if any, difference but when the load goes up is when this comes into play. Actually, the more people that stayed with 2.0.1 the more it would screw things up for everyone else on that same tower. So, yes upgrade even if you are getting good data like I was on 2.0.1 It will not change, the only thing is your phone will demand less "power" from the tower and make everything a little happier.
