2.1 battery indicator getting stuck

Is anyone experiencing a occasionally stuck battery indicator under 2.1? I have a 3G that I jailbroke shortly after upgrading, and noticed that it was reporting a full charge even after being unplugged and used all day. When I rebooted the indicator jumped to less than 30%. This happened a couple more times since.

I'm going to try a full drain to see if that helps, if not I guess I'll do a restore and hold off on jailbreaking for a while.

I experienced the same thing yesterday. For a while I though 'awesome I'm finally getting great battery life' and then I restarted my phone and it was almost empty. I'm not jailbroken either, so it's the firmware itself that seems to have this bug.

i'm in the same boat as you. I have a non-jailbroken phone and it did the exact same thing. after hard booting the phone it has been back to normal. I heard you should hard boot the phone after you upgrade it.

I went ahead and did a fresh restore, no backups used. Battery indicator seems to work okay now though a couple other 2.0.x issues came back to visit briefly (notably the SMS alert not playing until I rebooted). I'm gonna keep away from jailbreaking for the time being.
