2.1 or 2.0 with full volume control? logitech z cinema control issues

i have looked thru the mac store, thru newegg with very limited options. I am looking for something with either a wired remote or wireless that i can adjust the treble and the bass and is compatible with the mac pro 3.5jack. I have been looking for a while and to be honest, I see the mm1's which I heard today isnt enough of bass or the altecs with the big knob controller. Just seems like im very limited.

I heard that you can use the Z5 software, but I haven't tired it yet... if it works at all, I'll be happy, as the Z Cinema speakers sound fantastic! They work for me know (using Lion) but most of the functionality is missing.
