sorry i saw a thread about SR MPBs shipping but it's 98 pages long. was wondering why it's taking so long to get a freaking laptop. i ordered my MBP on friday, had some problems with apple's developer connection discount, got it all straight this morning and the lady tells me she's refunded my shipping and it's on the house but the MBP won't ship till later and will get out here on OCTOBER 5th! this seems a long time to wait for a lappy. i've been waiting to switch for about 2 years now and i finally do and it's taking FOREVER to get here. is there a reason why? customs? no product? it's confounding to me.

That's not that long. They also give you a time range for delivery so check your email and look at the proposed dates. My worst case date was Oct. 2nd and it is now being sent to me.
