I have a 3G 16gb on Tmobile and I'm kind of itching to update, but I'm just wondering if it is worth it?

What are the improvements of 2.2.1 over 2.2?

According to this page on Wikipedia.org:

  • Improved general stability of Safari
  • Fixed issue where some images saved from Mail do not display correctly in the Camera Roll
  • Updates Baseband
  • Fixed issue that caused some Apple Lossless (ALAC) audio files to skip during playback (iPod Touch Only)
  • Fixes calendar color syncing issue (Mac iTunes 8.1 Only)
  • Renders iPhone Unlock (Yellowsn0w) useless by upgrading baseband

Safari has yet to crash even once since I updated my JB 1st- gen to 2.2.1.
It crashed all the time on all previous FW versions going back to 1.01.

Just be sure to use Pwnage Tool to keep your baseband at 02.28.00!
