i was thinking about using a mbp in clamshell with two 20" dell wide screen moniters with an eyetv hybrid for tv viewing, would this be possible? also, with eye tv could i use one moniter for tv and one for surfing internet, typing documents, etc.?

The MacBook Pro only supports one external monitor or either the analog (VGA) output or the digital (DVI) output, but not both at once. I have personally tried to use a DVI-I to DVI-D + VGA adaptor, and it failed to produce an image on both, only the one the connected first.
