I'm on 2.2.1 with bb 2.28. My iphone's jailbroken and I've installed yellowsn0w. My phone was locked on FIDO (canada). Now I'm in the US and I tried using my friend's SIM CARD (T-Mobile). I turned off my iphone, put the T-mobile SIM card, turned it on and it's only in emergency mode and asks to be connected to itunes. When I connect it to itunes, itunes says "The sim card inserted in this iphone does not appear to be supported."

Anyone knows what's going on?

Did you turn off 3g before you reboot, are you running the latest version of yellowsn0w .0.9.8, might take a couple reboot, airplane mode on/off, or eject/install sim card, that's all I can think of.

Yup. 3g is off. I've rebooted 5 times. Yellowsn0w 0.9.8. Ejected and installed new and old and new and old SIM cards. Even tried with a second SIM card (AT&T). And reinstalled yellowsn0w. I still get the same message.

Did you turn on and off airplane mode?
Also you are running custom firmware 2.2.1 with baseband 2.28, wondering if that was mess up.

I have 2.2.1 with baseband 2.28. When I insert the other SIM Card, my iphone is in emergency mode. So I can only turn on and off airplane mode with the original sim card. And I've done that as well.
