Im selling my 2.4ghz 2gb white macbook from last year to my friend.

I'm wondering if I should buy the 2.2ghz MBP with a ram upgrade to 4gb or if I should get the 2.5 ghz MBP.

Am I going to really a notice a performance difference between my current 2.4ghz 2gb white MB and the 2.2 ghz 4gb MBP?

Because of the better GPU, faster FSB and DDR3 ram, you will notice a nice bump in performance. As for the speed difference between the current models - not so much.

The price difference is only 300 bucks and while you will probably be able to find the ram and HD cheaper at newegg you will have it delivered with 4gig and a large-ish HD out of the box. The choice is yours. The performance as I mentioned will not be terribly noticeable between the 2.2 and 2.53.

Buy my 2.4 ghz Aluminum Macbook. It has 4gb ram, 250gb HD and Applecare through Oct 2011. Mint condition. :)
