2.66 ghz or 2.93 ghz

hey macforums, i am planning to purchase an imac soon but im having a hard time deciding between the 24inch 2.66 ghz model or 2.93 ghz model. do u guys think its worth the upgrade for the graphics card and better cpu???

Depends what you do. I would get 2.93 because it has dedicated GPU and is only 300$ more

Go for the 2.93, and upgrade to the ATI graphics card if you can. Worth the $. As for the processor, you won't really notice a difference unless you plan to do intensive encoding work, like in the case of iMovie or Final Cut.
