2.76 and 2.72 RAM

I notice that on iOS 12 Geekbench shows that iPhone X has 2.76gb ram and on iOS 11 - 2.72 gb

Why is that? Is it because of Apple’s performance improvement?

There is no logical reason. Maybe the API that they use to determine how much RAM there is was changed?

If you do enough 'base 10' to 'base 2' conversions or vice versa with the RAM info, not knowing when having to deal with the SI unit and when not, losing some precision during these calculations and combine this with some rounding and formatting directives for the UI, these differences when displaying may occur.
