2.8 Vs. 2.4

Is there that much difference between 2.4 and 2.8? Is it worth the extra $$$. I will be using it for Pro Audio.

Well in a couple of years you might appreciate the extra bit of grunt.

The way I see it, if you can pitch out the money now, you won't regret it later. If you can't afford it but just want it, you wouldn't regret it in the long run, but you might a couple weeks after you buy it when you need the money. The better hardware you get now, the longer you will be able to go before you need to replace in the future, which means in the future you will be able to wait for the nicer stuff to come down in price. But of course everyone has their cut-off line of how much they are willing to spend, you just need to decide for yourself where that line is.
