Is it possible to connect 2 Apple Thunderbolt Displays to a 2017 iMac via this scenario:

Display to Display daisy chained to ONE USB-C port via TB2 to USB-C adapter?

Hoping to utilize both of my displays and still have an open USB-C Port.
