I just purchased a second APPLE TV to take with me to Europe as I work there half time. I was hoping I could get all the movies, photos, etc that I have taken or purchased into the new machine so I can view them overseas. However, iTunes does not seem to be able to see my new Apple TV, although it is now in the network. It only sees the old Apple TV. At the store they told me I could have as many apple tv´s as I wanted on the same account. Ideas???

Some things to look at....

There isn't a lot in your post to go on...so if i suggest something rather basic, by asking some questions - apologies, there is no offense meant.

How is your :apple:TV connected to your home network? If it is wireless, are you sure it is connected to the right network and not a neighbors?

Does the :apple:TV have an IP address from the network you are trying to connect to?

Have you tried connecting your :apple:TV with an ethernet cable?

Can the apple TV access the internet and stream youtube or internet radio?

You might want to try disconnecting your existing :apple:TV from the network, and just work with the new one...

Good Luck!

Go into the settings pane and set it up, make sure iTunes is open so you can setup stream/sync.

Make sure you have an adequate power cable fir your trip!
