Hello,

I just switched from 10.13 to Monterey and I'm still trying to find my way around the changes.

I have two questions for Music app:
1) When I'm browsing a playlist in "Songs" view, how can I hide the top part of the window where the album art and name is displayed?
2) How can I go to the iTunes Music Store from the Music app?

Thanks!

Deselect "Show Artwork".

Not sure about the Music Store. Don't see an option since I subscribe to Apple Music.

Doesn't the top part go away, if you scroll in a playlist? Also, look in settings for a toggle to turn on the iTunes Store.

Deselect "Show Artwork".
It was already deselected, and selecting it only adds the covers to the immediate left of the song list (and right of the playlists list). I want to remove the very large part above it.

In "Songs" view (the only view I use), that top part doesn't go away when I scroll down. It's just a huge waste of space.

And thanks for the tip about the store, it worked!

Didn't catch the playlist part. Don't see any view options for playlists

When I've selected a playlist, but choose the "as songs" view from the View menu, I get what you see in the screenshot I attached in post #4 (huge lost space above the playlist songs).

You don't?

I do. The playlist heading does have a large graphic which doesn't seem to be removable. All of the services that I user have a graphic in the heading. Tidal does the best job. It starts out large, then diminishes in size as you scroll down.

Yeah, looks that way. Shame to lose so much space for useless stuff... Guess Apple is still form over function!
