I sure hope this isn't accurate! Trying to update from Big Sur 11.13 to the latest 11.4...

Says there is 12GB to download and 2 days remaining. I sure hope this isn't an accurate time!

Nope. I'm very surprise how long it is taking to download. Normally my internet downloads are very fast. I wonder if it might be just due to their servers being slammed with requests for the same file?
It could very well be a bottleneck on their side. I have experienced such but, that has usually been on release day. As long as it finishes and you are able to install, that is the main thing. :) I have been frustrated at times as well in that vain.

Yeah, maybe this might explain why a lot of people might be trying to access the new OS download:

UPDATE: Just for the heck of it, I stopped the update, rebooted and started over - the download has been going for about 15-20 minutes so far and is currently saying "About 1 hour remaining". That's more like it! So note to anyone who runs into this - try what I did. I don't know if I just got connected to a less busy server the second time or what, but it's going much faster the second try.
