2 drive icons on desktop

Hi chaps, I have a new iMac (used) am working on file transferring from my old one but the new one has 2 icons on the desktop, please advise me ... hope you're all having a nice day

Is this a Fusion Drive model? If so two HD icons are normal. If this worries you go into Finder Preferences and deselect Hard Drives.

Thanks for that, I've no idea, I am a total nerd, My old mac is failing and I picked up this one. Migrating the old to the new I got "not enough space" so I wondered if the 2 drives are 'separate' or do they act as one ie do I have 500gb or 2 x 250gb this is becoming a pain but thank you so much for your help ...
