1. How easy does a black macbook scratch?
2. On a macbook pro refurbs did they fix the right side speaker fan noise issue? Or is this like a normal thing?

i dont kown about 1,

2. all those problems are individual cases, not all macbook pro has it, so depend on the particular you might get... but provided its refurb, it's most likely fixed.

I can field question one:

Very easily. When I bought mine I though "oh, its made from plastic just like the iBook, those things were practically bullet-proof." Well, it may stand for the white one but the black model is definitely easier to scratch. There's 3 kinds of scratches:

  1. The strange silvery/white coloured ones.
  2. The shiney black underneath the matte-black
  3. The deep, long scratches on the bottom.

So definitely buy a case or get a MacBook White or a Pro if you can swing it. I find after a month that the grease and the scratches that it's just not worth it.
