I am going to purchase a new MBP today and I want 3 GBs of RAM.. what is the best method of getting this RAM...

Should I purchase it from apple for $575 or go to a third party?

Thanks for all advice..

cheers

If it's the 2.16 GHz machine, then go third party

If its a 2.33 GHz machine, Apple is offering $575 (CAN$690) for the 2 Gb NET of the return of the 1 Gb module.

Give the third party sellers a day or two to get their pricing and policies together.

For example we are offering a $120 rebate on sending the Apple module back to us on purchase of the 2 Gb module, but that is only for Canadian customers.

Thanks
Trevor
