Forgive me if this has been addressed but how does one separate the two Iphones so that they dont sync the same information to both devices when syncing?

After checking, both Iphones have different names yet when I sync both get the identical information. Suggestions

thanks,

scott

Which information exactly were you expecting to be different? If you want different songs on the two iPhones, you will need to set up two playlists and assign each phone to use its own playlist, for example.

If you can provide specifics, it will be easier to help you.

OK; Thanks, You answered one part of my questions; Playlists! The other thing was my contacts went to my wifes phone-how can I correct this?

Separate user accounts on the Mac/PC would generate separate iTunes libraries and such, would they not? So you could just log-in with your account and then sync your iPhone?

well i think one of you its going to have anphone synced with the pc n the other one wont just unclick sync contacts on her phone when u plug it in, in itunes

just uncheck automatically sync on every option; my boyfriend and i both update our stuff on the same laptop. we each have our own itunes accounts, and this seems to be the most simple solution.
