Just to fuel this thread a little.. I have a few queries..
I'm getting the iPhone 3G S next week and will be giving my 3G to the wife.
We have 1 user account on the mac which is set up to sync MobileMe mail, contacts, calendars etc..
When I give the 3G to my wife, she won't have a data plan (her choice, not mine), so no point in MobileMe for the 3G.
My question is, can we sync different calendars/contacts to our separate iPhones from the same user account on the mac?
A few of you above have spoken about turning calendars on/off etc.. but where are you doing this, as I've just spoken with a mobileme rep and he says what I want to do is not possible via MobileMe
example:
i have 2 calendars in my ical "Home" and "Work", and I have 2 iPhones.. one for Home and one for Work... apparently I cannot simply sync the "Home" calendar with my Home iPhone and "Work" calendar with my Work iPhone? I have to have "Home" & "Work" calendars on BOTH iPhones
Only 1 will be using the MobileMe option, & I think iTunes when the wif'e iPhone is docked, she'll be able to pick & choose which contacts/calendars she wants, but on my iPhone, I do not want to see her calendar/contacts, but I think that using MobileMe, it will push those to my phone whether I like it or not.
Am i missing something really obvious here?
Thanks
