I'm a relatively new mac user and since I'm college student I need Windows so I can use Microsoft Access. My first question is, Does a mac use a BIOS chip at all like Windows. I notice whenever I boot up into Windows and I don't have access to WiFi or ethernet, the time is always wrong. I sync it when its online and manually set it myself several times. Once I turn it off and boot it up when I'm not near a hotspot or ethernet jack the time is always off again. I don't know why the motherboard can't keep the clock on time. Is this a known issue and is there a fix for it?
My second question is Does anyone know a program I can download to have a Wifi toogle when I'm using windows. I'm using a white macbook and I relaized that most Windows machine have a physical button to turn Wifi on and off. I know how to go into My Network and disabled it manually, I'm just looking for something more convient. Thanks for hearing me out.
