2 Macs and Upgrade

I have an Imac and Macbook Pro, do i purchase the one download and that licence applies to both machines or do i need to purchase it twice on each machine?

You buy ML once and install it on both computers, just like Lion:

The OS X Lion Software License Agreement allows you to install and use the software for your personal, non-commercial use on all the Macs you own or control that are running Mac OS X Snow Leopard or Snow Leopard Server (a Mac Computer).
