I’m aware of the fact that Apple discontinued the OG HomePod and is now fully promoting the HomePod minis. I just wanted to ask you guys for advice.

Do you guys think it’s still worth buying the OG HomePod? If I do buy a set, will they give an impressive full immersive experience? Are they loud enough? And for the people who are using them with their Apple TV: how is Dolby Atmos on these things?

Thanks.

I have two stereo pairs of the HomePod, one of the mini, and a mini single.
For TV use I still prefer my soundbar with subwoofer, but am still thinking of trying Dolby Atmos on one of the stereo pairs. I am quite sure that the minis would be ok for a small room or apartment, but would clearly lack in bass.
The sound produced by those little guys is amazing but simply does not compare with the larger model.
