2 quesitons - what are these icons & what is that one App launcher?

2nd, what is the name of the Application Launcher - it has a black background sits on your desktop and has all the applications installed on your HD as an icon in the black square??

Not really sure what two applications you're asking about. That screenshot shows a whole bunch of menubar icons. The item that's open is obviously the app that that page is about.

As for the application launcher, it sounds like you're referring to Todos.

oh, well the aplication launcher i was looking for is called Todos, but its not working how i would like it to.

I am looking for something that has that look and i can customize what is in the box and it will hide behind open windows, any suggestions?

I'm sorry, I kind of misread your post. Anyway, unfortunately I don't know what any of the other apps are except for iSync and the Airport icon.
