1. I have SBSetting and it is telling me i have 59mb on / 6836 on /var. Then on my iTunes it says I have 6.75gig remaining. What is it I have left so I don't run out of room? I am assuming that iTunes doesn't read the apps and info used by jailbreaking.

2. Can I run Installer apps AND Cydia apps on the same phone?

not sure about your question 1
for question 2, yes you can run both. I have both installer and cydia on mine.

Yes I understand that when you jail break you get both the Installer app and the Cydia app. Is it ok to run apps from each one and add them to your springboard. I only use Cydia for apps. The last time I installed an app from Installer it crashed my phone and I had to remove the app. I just figured maybe there was an incompatibility using both.

it's not that they are incompatible. It's just installer apps are not stable. I mainly use cydia only now. Installer used to be really good but now, it's just toooooo buggy.

I'm pretty sure iPhones have two partitions, one for iTunes and one for the system. Cydia puts jailbreak apps in the system partition and SBSettings must be reading the remaining system storage instead of the remaining iTunes storage.

I could be totally wrong.
