First, I would like to know if someone else buys a computer for me can they register it under my name so I dont have any problems with the warrenty (my friend get 15% off because he works in the gov't, so he will buy it for me, I just pay him back). 2nd part of theis question, they do honor gov't discounts at the store, right?

Also, can you get customized computers at the apple store (I just want the 1GB RAM and 80GB HD upgrades)?

Yuo can get the RAM update, not the hard drive update.

As for the first question, I don't think there would be any problem, but I'm not sure.
