1) What happened to the oval in the top right corner of finder windows to show sidebar and toolbar on and off? Is there any other shortcut to show sidebar other than using the menu bar view item?

2) If you double click in between 2 sort field titles in details view in the finder, it used to automatically move the column over to show the entire filename, etc. without having to manually drag it wider. Now it does nothing. WTF? Why take this helpful feature that had been here for years away? Am I missing something?

Thanks for the shortcut, if I can remember yet one more shortcut.

Do you think it's gone from details view on purpose? I can't imagine why.

Might have forgotten it, like they forgot a ton of other stuff. Expect it to return in 10.7.1.

This of course begs the question: Have you filed a bug report with this yet? That is one of the main points of the developer preview system, and since you are using the develop preview you have to have already registered with Apple for your developer account... Basically, if you don't file it, then it never happened.

yes, but there seems to be more action in this forum. Actually, I'm surprised Apple doesn't object to all this lion talk in this thread. Talk of Lion developer previews is apparemly strictly forbidden in the apple forums.
