ok i read the article, and thats from JUNE it was mentioned back then but i highly doubt it will be a feature anytime soon becuase everyone pretty much stopped talking about it

its 13.3" across diagonally, figure it out, and your link dosent work, but reading the actual link, i dnt think thats going to happen, itll be on the MBP first

The OP had an extra http in it:

http://crunchgear.com/2007/06/29/multi-touch-on-macbooks-in-october/

That should work. Don't know if that'll be happening or not on the MB/MBP in October; but I guess anything is possible.

As for the question regarding the screen dimensions; I'm not sure. Obviously, its 13.3" diagonally, but I'm pretty sure that diagonal doesn't go at an angle of 45 degrees. Hopefully someone out there with a ruler will be willing to measure up the height/width for you. Alternatively, you could always make a trip out to your local dealer and measure one there, or take the dimensions of the MacBook available on Apple's website and just make a best-guess from there.

There are infinite possibilities for screen length and width with 13.3" diagonally...
Exactly.

Even if I just hadone dimension I could perhaps figure it out. I want to know the screen size before commiting to buy!

Although that said it woudnt be a HUGE issue unless its stupidly small

Why do people make topics like this such a hassle?

Yes, he could have searched Google, but he searched here instead for the input of people who cared about MacBooks. If you don't want to answer the question, you don't have to, right?

no he's just lazy and wanted other people to search for him

i had to search google to answer his question when he could have just as easily done it

i understand asking a question that people may know off of the top of their head, but no one knows the screen demsions off the top of their head

NO - I asked not because Im lazy, but I thought that maybe other people might want to know too. Dont think that I couldnt be bothered to search. This is an APPLE FORUMS anyway!!!!!! - I thought people were supposed to come here and have their questions answered rather than have their heads bitten off for asking a simple question!

im on your side here...

you could have searched google, true.

but, at the same time you had another question regarding the multi touch, ask 2 questions at once, 2 birds, 1 stone.

Also, this is a MAC enthusiasts forum, of course you are entitled to ask questions regarding a mac.

Anyyyyyyhows, now you know your screen size. As for the multi-touch. Ild say its deffo fesable, cant see why not.

:apple::apple::apple:

Forgive me if I am wrong or ignorant to the subject but didn't Stevie Steve mention in the iMac/iLife/iWork Keynote last month mention that Multitouch computers would be something of a research project?

To me that would indicate that it isn't going to happen anytime soon. But then again, that is just a guess informed by something that was said during the Q&A of an Apple event that asked that direct question and none of the leading rumor mills seem to be talking about it either.

nothing wrong with the multitouch question

of course but the point being he asked a question that im sure no one on this forum knew the answer to without googleing it themselves

To the OP:

Of course you questions are valid but you might want to reflect on a more descriptive title to your thread next time.

You have a point. lol - I didnt really explain it too well,

Point taken though for future posts. (If I cant find the ans on google first )
