Can anyone find a (non-promotional) picture of side-by-side 20" and 24" iMacs? The pictures on the Apple website don't help me compare very well.

I'm trying to convince myself I don't need to get a 24". :D

I think the screen is probably about 1-1/2" taller and about 2" wider based on some guesstimation. I'm now looking at the 20" instead to save some money and since they run the same video card it seems to me the video might perform a bit better at a lower resolution, but maybe that's just wishful thinking.

I had a 20" CD and sold it to get a G1 24". The difference in workspace is SUBSTANTIAL. Something like 30% more screen area if I recall correctly.

Honestly, 20" iMacs look small to me now, and 17" iMacs look like toys.
