20" 2ghz Airport toggling issue

Is anyone else with a 20 inch having issues with the Airport? When I turn on my machine, the internal airport card isn't recognized, but if I restart it, airport is recognized just fine. Did I get a bunk card here or is it just a firmware issue?

Could you explain what you mean by "isn't recognize." E.g. is it missing from the network pane of system properties? Does it simply not connect to your/any wireless network?

well, the airport card isn't recognized in the system profiler; it isn't identified as being installed.
