Has anyone found/developed a hack to eliminate the 200 email message limit?

For me 200 emails is only a few days worth and due to the "work around" I have had to do to get my work email the server search is usless.

What limit are you talking about? I have about 2000 and have no trouble accessing all of them, just have to load each section.

Hmmm.

Under Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar > Mail...I have "Show: 200 Recent Messages" selected. Which is the highest option avaliable.

When I go into any one of my 3 non-Exchange accounts I only have 200 messages avaliable. The "Load More Messages" option only seems to work on my MobileMe account not on my POP or IMAP accounts. Most of the time I do not get the "Load More Messages" option on anything but the MobileMe account.

I have both POP and IMAP accounts, both allow me to keep loading messages until I run out of messages to load, not sure what the problem might be for you.

Interesting. The only account that works like that for me is my MobilMe account.

I actualy found thru iFile where I could change the 200 to 400 or what ever I wanted but once again it only seems to work for the MobileMe account not my three other accounts.

Maybe I will try removing all accounts and try agian.

May I ask how you changed the limit with iFile?

Marcel
