Well, my list of favorite albums is definitely.... different, but I thought I would post it anyway. These are from my list of top 40 albums of all time.
1. Vanessa Carlton-Be Not Nobody: In my opinion, this album is the biggest sonic masterpiece to ever grace "Radio Disney pop". Even at the measly 64kbps that I have it on, I still get the chills with most of these tracks. Truly my favorite album of all time.
3. Evanescence-Fallen: Another all-time favorite of mine, and one of my first experiences in the world of metal. Amy Lee's ghost-like voice can be both scary ("Tourniquet") and beautiful ("My Immortal").
5. Avril Lavigne-Let Go/Under My Skin/The Best Darn Thing: Avril got me into music, so all three of her albums are very close to me.
6. Nine Inch Nails-Year Zero: This is one of those albums that, while definitely having a stellar collection of songs, really makes waves with it's "presentation". The ARG concept was nothing short of groundbreaking.
12. POD-Satellite: The greatest rap album of all time, hands-down.
16. Kelly Clarkson-Breakaway: We all know it now, but this album was the start of Kelly's "dark" phase. While some didn't like it, I personally thought it was a wonderfully eerie experience.
17. Machinae Supremacy-Overworld: You guys have probably never heard of this SID metal band, but you should look them up. They have a bunch of free demos on their website.
18. Sepiamusic-Prototype: Another indie album that I love.
22. Soulja Boy-Souljaboytellem.com: I'll probably be flamed for this, but I personally liked Soulja Boy's "I'm an idiot lololol" style of rapping.
