Hello!
So, I have a problem. My brother I live with just got a new mac pro, and i got his old 2006 mac he's been using for the last 14 years. He's stopped using it for a while and when I tried to turn it on, the power indicator lit up, but the screen did not turn on at ALL. If you have any idea what the problem might be, give me your best guess. Also, if there is anything that requires a a mac keyboard, it's gonna be a while before I can respond cause my bro just used a wireless keyboard while he had it. It never came with the keyboard cause it was bought from ebay. But still, if you have any ideas, tell me. Thanks, -Tam4

I wouldn't expect too much from a 14-year-old iMac.

Chances are the internal power supply may have failed.

If you don't have a keyboard, buy a cheap USB (wired) keyboard and use that.
