Relative has a 2.0 2007 Mac Mini... this takes 4 gigs of ram with matched pairs of 2 gig sticks that registers as 3.3gigs, correct?

I have the 2.26ghz 2009 Mini -- no one has tested the 8 gig ram installed yet?

More concerned at moment about the matched pairs in the 07 mini that utilizes 3.3gigabytes... does anyone have matched pairs in their 2007 mini?

For the 2007 Mac Mini, yes, two 2G sticks will give you ~3.3GB of usable RAM. This is a limitation of the chipset.

I have two Crucial 2G sticks in my 2007 Mac Mini and it works just fine.

I don't have a 2009 Mini, so I can't comment on that.

Could I put 3 GB in the 06 Mini? I heard the max was 2, or is it the same chipset limitation as the 07 Mini?

Edit: looked it up, 2 GB is the max amount :(
