Hey everyone,

(not english native speaker, will do my best)

Today I tried to use my 2007 iMac but it won't boot properly.
When I turn it on, it's stuck on a blinking folder with a question mark inside, and nothing happens.
When I press alt on boot, the cursor pops up but the rest of the screen is all white and nothing happens.
Cmd+R doesn't work either, blank screen and nothing else.
For information, the version is OS X Snow Leopard. I've got the CDs if needed.

I think about an HDD failure, is there any way to get the datas back if the iMac is definitely broken (without having to take apart the computer) ?

Thank you for helping me, have a nice day.
