2007 Mac Mini dead?

Hi All!

Have a 2007 mac mini.

1.87 C2D

80 gg hdd

2 gb of RAM

Watching 4OD the other night the mini suddenly switches off. Checked all connections, swapped to different power outlets and tried to switch on, but nothing happened.

When plugged into the wall and switched on at the wall can hear a slight click from inside but nothing happens when pressing the power button at the back of the machine.

Power adapter is fine putting out 18.5 volts.

Disconnected everything hoping to get a beep but nothing happens.

Have checked HDD and that is working fine. Stumped on what to try next, any help and ideas will be great.

Not necessarily. When the machine tries to draw power it may conk out. I would try bringing it to Apple to see if they can try a different adapter first.
