Hi guys,

I have a failing gpu just as many other have. Doing some research it shows the MacBook can disable the discreet gpu and use the intergrated graphics from the cpu? Is this an option on a late 2009 iMac?
I read one post where files were moved from a folder and booted up fine.

If not seems a bake is the way forward.

If anyone has experience of the above it would be appreciated.

Thank you

No, the 2009 27-inch iMac does not have an alternative integrated graphics, only an ATI graphics chip/card.
(Maybe someone else will respond about "baking" that card.)
