For 2009 nVidia iMac owners, please post your colour profile you are currently using.
Also, what panels are the new iMacs using? LG I guess. Somebody please verify.

I'd like to reiterate a request for Late 2009 iMac color calibration profiles. Specifically, I'm looking for one for panel 9CBC.

I would post my profile but I have an ATI graphics card. I used Spyder3 to calibrate the display. It did a very good job on the top 2 thirds of the display, then the yellow shows up on the bottom third.
 
I've an editing position at my school paper, and we just (thankfully) got a new iMac to work with, but we can't use it until the screen is properly calibrated. And since we're broke, I don't think the paper can afford a Spyder...

what's wrong with the current calibration?
I mean apple did make the computer and color profile so it should be good if not perfect already.

No, it's a little off, and we need the photo editing computer to have good color even if the others don't...
 
Most displays are slightly off, and they drift over time.

Have you tried using the software calibration utility that comes with the iMac ?
I know it is not as good as hardware calibration, but it will be better.
