Hi gang - hoping someone can assist with an issue I am having on my 2009 27inch iMac. I had a quick search but couldn't see any previous threads on this topic.
I recently relocated and needed to remove the stand on my iMac in order to pack it safely for transit. I found a few guides on how to do so and believe I followed them fine as the stand is now off... However I need to put it back on and have found that the mounting point (bar with 8 holes for screws) has recessed back into the computer. I have tried to put the stand back in and play with the 'slide release' but the mounting plate won't pop out. Does anyone have an experience with this? If so advice would be greatly appreciated.
