2009 iMac w. 10.11.2 / Boot Camp - Win7 can't see HD

Hi folks,

I'm rebuilding a late 2009 iMac 21 (3.33Ghz C2D/10GB RAM with the ATI card) for a friend, and I've got a 480GB SSD in it that's running El cap very nicely. Now I'm trying to get Win7 x64 on Boot Camp.

The drivers downloaded, but when I start the Win7 install cycle, it says that the CD/DVD drivers are needed and it can't see the HD. I look in the WindowsSupport folder on the USB drive I saved it to, and have tried all the folders under nVidia (this is the nForce chipset with 9400M on the mobo), and it can't find anything.

What am I missing here? I appreciate your help!

El capitan no longer supports windows 7 in boot camp ther are ways to get it to work though so get googling.

The OP still can run windows 7, since he has an older Mac.

OP, do you have a windows CD or are you trying to install it from an ISO?
