I have a 2009 8 core mac pro 4.1 and when I try to upgrade it to 5.1, for the New OSX coming up it fails.
The upgrade tool runs its course and all good but when I hold down the power button and the led starts blinking the DVD tray not opens up and the progress bar fills up instantly then the unit restarts itself.
And stays 4.1, tried on Mavericks and Yosemite, no success.
Any advice?
